Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using construction plumbing techniques on commercial and residential sites
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise installations
- Operate hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment safely and efficiently
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment necessary for plumbing tasks while adhering to safety protocols
- Perform remodeling and assembly work involving piping systems, fixtures, and HVAC components
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with plumbing or HVAC systems effectively
- Follow detailed schematics and construction plans to ensure accurate installation and repairs
- Assist in site preparation activities such as carpentry or handyman tasks as needed on construction sites
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, materials, and waste disposal in compliance with safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while ensuring quality workmanship
Experience
- Prior experience working on construction sites with a focus on plumbing or mechanical systems is highly preferred
- Familiarity with construction plumbing practices, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and pipe threading techniques is essential
- Hands-on experience with welding, HVAC systems, or remodeling projects will be advantageous
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Knowledge of construction site safety procedures and the ability to work effectively in physically demanding environments
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or experience driving large vehicles is a plus but not mandatory
- Previous handyman or assembly experience can enhance your candidacy for this versatile role
