Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Plan and implement direct instruction to all students in a small group setting using evidence based intervention programming as articulated in our common practices to supplement the core instruction.

Develop systems/interventions to help meet grade level mathematics standards by instructing students who are below said standards.

Work collaboratively with classroom teachers to support implementation of differentiation and inclusion through Main Lesson/Menu.

Provide instructional strategies for teams within the MTSS process.

Help teachers interpret data, improve pedagogical skills, and provide intervention for students.

Assist in creating assessments focused on important grade specific concepts and skills.

Assist in developing and delivering professional development opportunities to teachers during meetings/staff development days.

Job Requirements:

Must hold or be eligible for a Vermont educator's license with appropriate endorsement.

Current knowledge of proficiency based math components.

At least 5 years experience in content area.

Master's degree preferred.

Citizenship, residency or work visa required
