Step into a key leadership role as the Production Manager at our cannabis manufacturing facility in Santa Ana. You'll provide frontline leadership and direction to our manufacturing staff in a 24/7 operation, driving the production scheduling, staffing, procurement, and raw material and waste management that keep the facility running smoothly.
Your ability to lead with Safety, Quality, and Productivity as your framework, paired with strong organizational and communication skills, will keep our production floor efficient, compliant, and on target.

Responsibilities
● Provide leadership to manufacturing staff using Safety, Quality, and Productivity as your guiding framework
● Develop and maintain a production schedule that supports production targets, and provide accurate, up-to-date scheduling to the operator team
● Maintain staff schedules that support production, including hiring, timecard management and approvals, and time-off requests
● Maintain communication with other Manufacturing Leadership using EOS, daily boards/sheets, and other tools
● Review and report production KPIs and other measurables daily, weekly, and monthly
● Coordinate with leadership and maintenance on continuous improvement projects and events
● Coordinate with QA to ensure adherence to agreed-upon specifications, initiatives, and sampling plans
● Participate in department-wide safety, quality, and production meetings
● Perform manufacturing staff performance audits and guide the training process for all operators
● Approach tasks with attention to detail and organization, and lead by example in maintaining a tidy, complete workspace and task tracking
● Maintain consumables inventory and organization using 5S, and manage inventory on assigned procurement items
● Maintain organization of tools and supplies in production areas; identify and execute on items that improve facility reliability and aesthetic
● Process and input production metrics associated with product movements
● Facilitate the transfer of finished goods to the distribution team
● Adhere to strict internal and external regulatory standards
Qualifications
● 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with industry-applicable exposure
● Proven ability to communicate with vendors and coordinate job requirements
● Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
● General mechanical aptitude related to food, beverage, or refinery processes
● Experience with OSHA regulations
● Forklift certification/experience
● High school diploma or equivalent

● Able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods
● Works around heavy machinery, moving equipment, and production line systems; requires close and distance vision with the ability to adjust focus; must follow all required PPE and safety protocols
● Exposure to dust, chemicals, and noise (typically low to moderate), and cannabis plant material

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
