Oak Shores Community Association is seeking a friendly, outgoing, dependable, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Full-Time Gate Attendant. This position plays a vital role in maintaining the security, safety, and integrity of our private gated community.
We are looking for a motivated individual with a positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, especially during weekends, holidays, and the busy summer season.

Position Summary
The Gate Attendant is responsible for monitoring and recording all vehicle and pedestrian traffic entering and exiting Oak Shores while ensuring that only authorized individuals and vehicles gain access to the community. This position requires professionalism, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to enforce Association policies courteously and consistently.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Welcome residents, guests, contractors, and visitors.
· Record visitor information on daily visitor logs.
· Maintain and update permanent guest lists for Oak Shores members.
· Process guest check-ins in accordance with Association governing documents.
· Register and issue owner vehicle decals.
· Register and issue owner watercraft stickers.
· Collect watercraft, campground, and applicable Association fees.
· Record and reconcile revenues accurately with all required documentation.
· Process and record campground reservations.
· Conduct vessel and watercraft inspections as required.
· Inform visitors of Oak Shores rules, regulations, and policies.
· Monitor gate access and maintain community security.
· Maintain gatehouse supplies and operational readiness.
· Assist with minor maintenance tasks and watering of entry gate landscaping.
· Perform other duties as assigned.

· Ability to learn and enforce Oak Shores Community Association governing documents, rules, regulations, and procedures.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Physical Requirements
This position requires a combination of indoor and outdoor work and may involve:
· Standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods.
· Walking on uneven terrain.
· Bending, stooping, climbing stairs, and reaching overhead.
· Entering and exiting boats during inspections.
· Ability to see and read printed materials and computer screens.
· Ability to hear and communicate effectively indoors, outdoors, and by telephone.
· Manual dexterity to operate telephones, computers, calculators, and other office equipment.
· Ability to lift up to 25 pounds to shoulder height and up to 50 pounds to waist height.
· Mental acuity to perform duties accurately, efficiently, and safely while exercising sound judgment.
