IMPORTANT — YOU MUST HAVE YOUR OWN VEHICLE CAPABLE OF HAULING APPLIANCES.
We are hiring an entry-level Appliance and Garage Door Opener Installer to cover work throughout the Middletown, Dayton, and Cincinnati areas.
No prior appliance-installation experience is required. We will train the right person. What matters most is that you are dependable, can communicate, show up on time, work professionally in customers’ homes, and are willing to learn a skilled trade.
You will assist with and eventually complete residential installations including dishwashers, ranges, microwaves, cooktops, wall ovens, range hoods, and garage door openers.
This is not a position for someone with only a car or small SUV. You must have reliable transportation such as a pickup truck, cargo van, box truck, or a vehicle set up with an enclosed trailer that can safely carry appliances, tools, and job materials. You must also have a valid driver’s license, insurance, and the ability to travel throughout the Dayton/Cincinnati corridor.
What we are looking for:
- Reliable and ready to work consistently
- Comfortable working in customers’ homes
- Willing to learn appliance and garage door opener installation
- Able to lift, move, and safely handle heavy appliances
- Good communication and professional customer service
- Basic hand and power tool experience is helpful, but training will be provided
- Able to use a smartphone for job information, photos, and communication
- Willing to travel locally between scheduled jobs
