Brentwood Smiles Orthodontics is looking for a part-time orthodontic assistant to join our team! Our office is a brand new orthodontic provider in Brentwood, NY. Starting at $20 and up based on Experience and qualifications. WE WILL TRAIN YOU!
Job Description:
- Assisting the orthodontist with patient treatment, including: dental appliances, braces, and Invisalign (We will will train you )
- Preparing for treatment by cleaning and sterilizing the operatory.
- Conducting patient treatments and follow-up with patients.
- Assisting the doctor during orthodontic procedures.
- Taking patient's dental radiographs (Panoramic, Cephalometric and CBCT radiographs).
- Answering phones and scheduling appointments.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be fluent in both English and Spanish
Income will be based on experience and willingness to learn.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have a professional appearance and demeanor (dress) as well as be able to work independently or as part of a team environment.
- Candidates who are fluent in both English and Spanish will have a strong advantage for this role
Job Type: Part-Time (Wednesday Only from 10:00AM to 6:00PM), Due to our growing practice, we expect this role to expand into a full-time position over the next six months.
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 hours per week (Every Wednesday)
