The City of Centerville is seeking a full-time Building Code Inspector to perform residential and commercial inspections, review construction plans, issue permits and certificates of occupancy, and ensure compliance with applicable building codes, zoning regulations, and city ordinances.
The position involves both field and office work and includes interaction with contractors, property owners, developers, and the public. Candidates with experience in municipal inspections, code enforcement, construction trades, permitting, or plan review are encouraged to apply.
Salary is dependent upon qualifications, certifications, and experience.
Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
