Responsible for providing non-direct resident care and ancillary services in accordance with established standards under the direction of a licensed nurse supervisor.

Responsibilities:
- Report all accidents and incidents observed immediately to the Charge Nurse.
- Ensure that the resident's room is ready to receive the resident (i.e., bed made, etc.)
- Inventory and mark the resident's personal possessions as instructed.
- Assist residents with packing their personal possessions when they are being transferred to a new room or when being discharged.
- Answers call lights and notify nurse or CNA of care needs.
- Assist in transporting residents to/from appointments, activity and social programs as assigned.
- Assist with cleaning dining room following meals (wipe tables, sweep floors, etc.) Assist in cleaning break room, shower room, nourishment room, etc.
- Maintains a clean, safe and comfortable environment
- Transport assigned residents to and from meals
- Assists with meal distribution for residents who can feed themselves
- Distributes ice and water
- Delivers snacks to those residents who do not require assistance in feeding
- Cleans and disinfects resident care equipment
- Performs routine housekeeping duties
