Now Hiring: Lead Fireplace Service & Installation Technician
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Lead Technician to oversee field operations while performing hands-on installation, service, and repair work. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their craft and is ready to lead by example in the field.
What You’ll Do
- Install gas and wood-burning fireplace systems
- Perform inspections, cleanings, diagnostics, and system evaluations
- Repair and rebuild fireboxes, smoke chambers, crowns, and chimney caps
- Install stainless steel chimney liners and chase covers
- Install propane tanks and gas lines in accordance with code
- Diagnose and resolve venting, drafting, and combustion issues
- Communicate clearly with customers and explain service findings and options
- Prepare accurate estimates and job documentation
- Lead and support a small field crew on daily job sites
- Ensure all work meets or exceeds industry codes and safety standards
- Maintain high-quality workmanship and jobsite professionalism

What We’re Looking For
- CSIA Certification required (NFI Certification a plus)
- Strong experience in fireplace, chimney, hearth, or related trades
- Proven ability to troubleshoot gas systems, venting issues, and structural chimney problems
- Leadership experience or strong leadership potential in the field
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage and support a small crew on job sites
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work safely on ladders and rooftops
- Experience in framing, masonry, HVAC, or construction trades is a plus
- Must live within 20 miles of Chalfont, PA
