Location: Des Moines, WA
Pay: $21–$23 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
We are a busy and growing collision repair facility looking for a Detailer to join our Des Moines, WA team. This role is essential in ensuring vehicles are clean, polished, and ready for delivery, helping create a great final impression for our customers.
What You’ll Do
- Detail and clean vehicles for customer delivery
- Vacuum and clean vehicle interiors, including windows
- Perform final washes and pre-washes on vehicles
- Inspect repaired areas and report any concerns to a supervisor
- Enhance the final product by polishing light scuffs or addressing minor cosmetic issues
- Assist with light buffing, trim installation, and cosmetic parts as needed
- Move and park vehicles
- Record mileage on final paperwork
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop
- Participate in daily meetings
- Secure the shop and vehicles at the end of each shift
- Travel between Murray’s Group locations as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Strong attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
Working Conditions
- Exposure to paint, fumes, dust, chemicals, and varying temperatures
- Intermittent loud noise typical of a shop environment
- Ability to work outside in any weather
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, and stooping
- Ability to perform repetitive motions throughout the shift
