In this role, you’ll be responsible for safely delivering, setting up, and picking up inflatable bounce houses and party equipment. Your proactive approach will ensure timely deliveries, excellent customer service, and smooth operations. Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks or personal vehicles to deliver and pick up bounce houses and party equipment according to scheduled routes
- Load and unload equipment using manual handling techniques, ensuring safe lifting practices and adherence to weight handling guidelines
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure safety and proper functioning before and after each trip
- Follow all traffic regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) requirements, and company policies during route driving
- Assist with the setup and takedown of bounce houses at event locations, ensuring secure installation and removal
- Maintain accurate delivery logs using mobile devices or digital tracking systems
- Communicate effectively with customers to confirm delivery times, address concerns, and provide exceptional customer service
Requirements
- Proven experience in delivery driving, warehouse operations, or courier services with a focus on manual handling and heavy lifting
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or commercial trucks preferred
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles (manual transmission experience required)
- Knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safe lifting practices in the workplace
- Experience with material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus
- Strong organizational skills for route planning and load management
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
