Duties
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other equipment
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision and speed, ensuring accuracy in order picking and packing processes
- Operate warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems like AS400, and inventory management software to track stock levels and update records in real-time
- Maintain organized stock areas through stocking, inventory management, and regular stock counts to prevent discrepancies
- Assist with shipping logistics by coordinating with carriers, preparing shipping documents, and ensuring compliance with trade regulations and international trade standards
- Use data entry skills to update order statuses, inventory levels, and shipment details accurately in various systems such as MRP (Material Requirements Planning) tools
- Support warehouse operations by load & unload activities, packaging goods securely for safe transportation, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols
Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or distribution center is highly preferred
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, ERP systems like AS400 or similar platforms
- Strong knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures and logistics processes
- Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for inventory counts and order processing
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, or similar equipment; forklift certification is a plus
- Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail; familiarity with Microsoft Office applications is beneficial
- Good customer service mindset to communicate effectively with team members and external partners
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items safely, and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
