You will receive an hourly amount plus a percentage of sales.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently deliver prepared food orders from the kitchen to guests’ tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
- Assist with clearing and bussing tables promptly to maintain a clean and inviting dining area.
- Support the kitchen team with basic food handling and preparation tasks as needed, following all food safety protocols.
- Handle manual lifting of heavy trays or boxes safely, practicing proper lifting techniques to prevent injury.
- Maintain cleanliness in service areas by assisting with cleaning duties, including wiping down surfaces and organizing supplies.
- Provide friendly, in-person customer service by greeting guests, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
Qualifications
- Previous food service experience or restaurant background is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential.
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and basic food preparation techniques.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently follow safe lifting practices.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations including bussing, serving, and guest services enhances your fit for this role.
- A proactive attitude towards cleaning, bussing, and maintaining cleanliness standards throughout shifts.
