American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) night shift position in Ohio, requiring an active OH or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience.

Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting

Night shift schedule: 7p–7:30a (3x12s), weekdays and some weekends
-
13-week contract

Epic EMR used for charting; prior Epic experience preferred

May be required to float to lower acuity units as needed

Active Ohio RN license or compact RN license (must be active at time of consideration)

Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience

Current certifications: BLS and IV Certification

Strong communication, critical thinking, and multitasking skills
-
2 professional references required: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or Supervisor; a Charge RN is acceptable as a second reference; co-worker references are not accepted

Responsibilities include IV placement and management, medication administration, vital sign monitoring, patient and family education, and care team collaboration

Travel nursing experience is a plus; first-time travelers are welcome to apply

All candidates must complete Ohio state fingerprinting promptly upon accepting the position; detailed instructions will be provided by the credentialing team

Former employees of the facility are eligible after a minimum 6-month separation period
