Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a smooth flow of service from arrival to departure
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, processing all transactions efficiently and correctly
- Serve food and beverages—including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks—while maintaining proper beverage service standards
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage cash handling, process payments accurately, and handle sales transactions with integrity
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including food handling and beverage stations
- Support food preparation, bussing tables, and assisting kitchen staff as needed to ensure timely service
- Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming environment for all patrons
Qualifications
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is required; fine dining experience is a plus
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining high energy levels
- Experience with food handling, serving, bussing tables, or host/hostess duties is preferred
