Foot and Ankle Institute is a full-service podiatric facility with 8 board certified podiatrists that treat conditions such as heel pain, wound care, neuropathy and more. They provide services including weight-bearing CT scans, total ankle replacement, and have a surgery center available.
Job Description
Medical assistants are responsible for providing exceptional care to patients and assist the provider during appointments. Medical assistants may be part of a physician’s team, which includes traveling to satellite clinics. The ideal candidate will have strong work ethic, can multi-task and excel in a fast-paced environment. The primary duties include rooming patients, documenting information in charts, taking x-rays, stocking, cleaning, and scheduling follow-up appointments. Additional responsibilities may include:
· Assisting physicians with in-office procedures
· Responding to patient messages
· Sending prescriptions under the physician’s direction
· Possible Travel to our other Locations
Preferred Qualification
· Certified medical assistant
· Medical assistant experience
· Experience in a medical office
Pay is negotiable based on previous experience.
