Duties
- Receive and prioritize incoming service requests via multi-line phone systems and digital platforms.
- Dispatch tow trucks promptly using GPS and transportation management systems to optimize routes and response times.
- Maintain clear communication with drivers, customers, and third-party vendors through phone etiquette and effective communication skills.
- Input data accurately into systems such as Towbook.
- Monitor fleet management systems to ensure proper vehicle utilization, maintenance scheduling, and compliance with safety protocols
Requirements
- Proven experience in dispatching within transportation or logistics environments;
- Strong analysis skills to assess situations quickly and make effective decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in transportation management systems like Towbook.
- Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette and the ability to handle multi-line phone systems confidently.
- High typing speed with accuracy for data entry tasks related to shipping & receiving, freight tracking, and fleet management records.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail in data entry and documentation.
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends
Pay: $17.00 - $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
