Our client, a leading aerospace and defense organization, is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join their team. In this role, you will be part of the Strategic Sourcing organization supporting cross-functional procurement and program teams. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, strong analytical abilities, and the ability to collaborate across teams, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Procurement Specialist
Location: Tempe, AZ
Pay Range: $37.04/hour
What’s the Job?
- Execute FAR 15 subcontracts in accordance with FAR, DFARS, and other applicable regulations.
- Conduct supplier market research and evaluate supplier information to identify qualified suppliers.
- Obtain and manage solicitation documentation, including drawings, supplier scorecards, and historical purchase data.
- Support subcontract negotiations involving pricing, terms, and conditions.
- Manage supplier relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement compliance and program success.
What’s Needed?
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Contracts & Legal, Business, or Finance.
- Must be a U.S. Person/U.S. Citizen due to contractual requirements.
- Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS) preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills and understanding of contract terms and conditions.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
