Job Summary
Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Flexographic Press Operator, where you will play a vital role in producing high-quality printed materials using state-of-the-art flexographic printing technology. As a key contributor, you will operate and maintain flexo presses, oversee color management, and collaborate with prepress and design teams to bring vibrant packaging and label projects to life. Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot Webtron and Mark Andy flexographic printing presses to produce accurate and high-quality labels according to specifications.
- Conduct prepress checks including plate mounting, color calibration, and layout adjustments to ensure precise color management and print fidelity.
- Monitor print runs for quality control, identifying and resolving issues related to registration, ink consistency, or substrate handling.
- Maintain detailed records of production runs, machine maintenance, and quality inspections to ensure smooth workflow continuity.
- Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and safety checks on flexo presses.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely to manage substrates and finished products efficiently.
Experience
- Proven experience operating Webtron 650 and 750 and Mark Andy 2200 presses in a manufacturing or print production environment.
- Familiarity with color management techniques.
- Ability to perform quality control inspections meticulously while adhering to safety protocols.
