At Astra ABA, we are dedicated to empowering young minds to flourish and reach their full potential. As a Behavioral Technician (BT), you will play a vital role in our mission by providing one-on-one ABA therapy to children in their home setting.
About the Role
We are seeking passionate and motivated BT's to join our skilled team of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Therapists. As a BT, you will work closely with BCBA's to implement treatment and behavior intervention plans, utilizing evidence-based ABA techniques such as positive reinforcement, shaping, and natural environment teaching (NET). Your primary responsibility will be to provide individualized therapy sessions to children, focusing on skill development in communication, social, play, adaptive, and academic domains.
Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children in-home setting
Implement treatment and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) with fidelity under BCBA supervision
Utilize ABA techniques such as positive reinforcement, shaping, and natural environment teaching (NET)
Support skill development in communication, social, play, adaptive, and academic domains
Collect accurate data on client progress during every session and submit same-day SOAP notes
Collaborate and maintain clear communication with BCBAs, families, and team members
Protect client dignity, privacy, and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA
Adhere to BACB Ethics Code for RBTs only and company policies
Participate in ongoing training and supervision as required

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
Reliable transportation and ability to travel to clients' homes
