About the Position
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Baker to join our Lebanese bakery team in the New Tampa area. This role is ideal for someone with baking or kitchen experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in producing high-quality food. The successful candidate will be responsible for baking traditional Lebanese savory pastries and assisting with daily kitchen operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate and manage a traditional brick oven
- Bake Lebanese savory pastries and pies according to recipes and quality standards
- Prepare dough and fillings for daily production
- Assist with food preparation and ingredient organization
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen workspace
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Support overall bakery operations and team members as needed
Qualifications
- Previous baking, bakery, or kitchen experience required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working with ovens and food preparation equipment
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift ingredients or supplies as needed
