Position Overview
We are seeking a part-time SLPA who is deeply aligned with neurodiversity-affirming values and passionate about working with young children and their families. This role is ideal for someone who values connection over compliance and approaches therapy with curiosity, flexibility, and respect. This role is for an in-home SLPA.
Role Description
- Providing quality care and treating children of all ages with fluency, articulation challenges, and other speech disorders in-home.
- Coordinating patient care with other healthcare professionals
- Clearly communicating treatment goals, expectations, and the importance of home programs to parents
Key Responsibilities
- Implement speech therapy sessions
- Use play-based, child-led approaches
- Support regulation, autonomy, and communication
- Collaborate with supervising SLP
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with families
- Complete session documentation
Qualifications
- Active California SLPA license
- CPR Certification
Pay: $36.26 - $43.67 per hour
