Schedule: We are looking to hire someone part time, about 10 hours per week. Our key time slots to fill areMondays from 2pm-5pm, Tuesdays from 8am-12pm and Wednesdays from 2pm-5pm
This role could grow into a full time position. If you're not available for the listed shifts, please do not let that prevent you from applying. We are open to collaboratively working with you on a mutually beneficial schedule.
Massage Therapist
At Austin Spine & Rehabilitation we are adding to our team and now accepting applications for a Licensed Massage Therapist to work in a peaceful and healing environment while overseeing and implementing manual therapies determined by the Doctor and ensuring our patients receive exceptional care! We currently offer a range of therapies and services to our patients and would love to include you in their healing journey. Starting pay at $25 an hour. We believe massage and chiropractic care work hand in hand and love promoting you personally to help grow your own business outside of our clinic. Duties and Responsibilities:
● Perform professional quality massage, within scope of practice and licensing ( as applicable)
● If performing hot stone, deep muscle or prenatal therapy, must have appropriate training and satisfy the minimum clinic education hours
● Maintain professional appearance at all times
● Assists in the cleanliness of the location (therapy rooms and common areas)
● Utilized approved modalities, in accordance with applicable law
● Design specific sessions based on the patient’s individual needs
● Create an excellent patient experience with a friendly and helpful attitude
● Reliable, on time attendance. Attends all scheduled shifts, is prompt to work and works entire schedule shift
● Completed visit notes / documentation accurately and completely in a timely manner. Experience with eClinicalWorks and ProBalance preferred
Qualifications:
● Certificate of Completion for massage therapy school
● Must adhere to all applicable local and state licensing laws and regulations related to the massage therapy service provided, including following any applicable law pertaining to maintaining current massage license.
● Knowledge of and experience in performing Swedish and Deep Tissue massage required, as well as knowledge of and experience in performing other modalities.
● Possess the ability to communicate effectively (orally and written) and in a courteous and professional manner
