Join our growing business and team. We are seeking a dependable and versatile Optometric Technician who enjoys variety in their day! This role will float between our Athens and Cleveland offices and assist the doctors clinical care.
This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a team environment and enjoys learning multiple aspects of patient care.
Clinical Duties
- Perform preliminary testing (visual acuity, auto-refraction, tonometry, OCT, visual fields, etc.)
- Document patient history and chief complaints accurately
- Prepare patients for exams and assist the doctor as needed
- Maintain exam rooms and equipment
- Front desk and optical support
Qualifications
- Optometry technician experience preferred
- Willingness to cross-train in multiple roles
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Reliable transportation to travel between offices
Preferred
- Experience with EHR systems
- Primary eye care experience
