What You'll Do
As a Registered Nurse – Preop/PACU at OrthoAtlanta, you’ll:

Assess and monitor preoperative patients, obtain vital signs, review medical history, and ensure informed consent is complete

Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia, manage pain, and address any complications to ensure safe and comfortable recovery

Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner within the EMR

Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other staff to coordinate patient care and ensure a seamless surgical experience

Recognize and act on changes in patient condition, using independent clinical judgment and facility protocols to guide decisions

What You’ll Need

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)

Current Registered Nurse licensure in Georgia or compact state

Current ACLS and BLS certifications

2 years of RN experience in Preop and/or PACU preferred
