Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Practice Physician with Obstetrics (FP/OB) to join our growing clinical team. This role provides comprehensive primary care services across the lifespan, including prenatal, delivery, and postpartum care. Responsibilities:

Provide full-spectrum family medicine care, including preventive, acute, and chronic disease management

Deliver comprehensive obstetric care, including:
- Prenatal care
- Labor and delivery
- Postpartum care
- Manage a panel of patients across all age groups (newborns to geriatrics)

Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams including nurses, medical assistants, behavioral health, and specialty providers

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Epic (EHR) system

Participate in on-call rotation for obstetrics and family medicine services

Support quality improvement initiatives and patient engagement efforts

Adhere to all regulatory, compliance, and clinical guidelines

Requirements:
Education and Experience

M.D. Degree, or D.O. degree from accredited school of allopathic or osteopathic medicine

Board-certified or Board-eligible in Family Practice

Current and valid Illinois license as a physician and surgeon

Current and valid DEA Controlled Substance Registration Certificate
-
Eligible for, or maintenance of, hospital privileges at affiliated hospitals
-
Bilingual ability may or may not be required based on individual department needs.

Ability to maintain effective and professional relationships with patients and other members of the care team.

Comfort working in a medical setting as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Knowledge of legal and ethical standards for the delivery of medical care

Knowledge of relevant drugs and non-pharmaceutical patient care aids and ability to prescribe dosages and instruct patients in correct usage

Knowledge of related accreditation and certification requirements

Knowledge of current principles, methods and procedures for the delivery of medical evaluation, diagnosis and treatment in area of expertise

Experience in working with a diverse population base preferred.
