Job Description:
As an Experienced Commercial Painter, you will be responsible for applying paints, stains, sandblasting, epoxy floor finishes, industrial coating, electrostatic, waterproofing, pressure cleaning and finishes to various commercial surfaces. Training can be provided for specialty services provided. You will work on a range of projects, ensuring high-quality results that meet our clients' expectations and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare commercial surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and filling holes or cracks.
- Perform weatherproofing and patching of surfaces to ensure durability and longevity.
- Select and mix paints, stains, and finishes according to project specifications.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Operate boom lifts and other equipment competently for high-access work (a plus).
- Utilize sanding equipment effectively to achieve smooth finishes.
- Conduct sandblasting equipment and prepping when required (a plus).
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a commercial painter (3 to 5 minimum years).
- Strong knowledge of commercial painting techniques, tools, and materials.
- Familiarity with weatherproofing and patching techniques.
- Proficiency in operating boom lifts and sanding equipment. (a plus)
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
