American Traveler is seeking an RN - Dialysis for a 13-week travel assignment requiring an active NM or compact RN license and at least 6 months of dialysis experience.

Active RN license (New Mexico or Compact) required

BLS certification required (AHA)

Minimum of 6 months of dialysis nursing experience required

Medical/surgical nursing experience required

ICU-level care experience preferred

Registered Nursing degree required (Diploma, ADN, or BSN)

Fingerprinting and background check required for all clinical staff working in New Mexico prior to start

Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
-
Provide dialysis care to adult and geriatric patients with end-stage renal disease
-
Utilizes Tablo dialysis machines along with standard vital signs and EKG equipment
-
Documents in Meditech, with a transition to Epic expected within two years
-
Reports to the Chief Nursing Officer until a Nurse Manager is hired

Occasional floating required when there are no dialysis patients to care for

Off-shift and weekend call requirements apply

Works in a Level III trauma facility that is Joint Commission accredited, a Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI, and a Certified Primary Stroke Center

Scrub color not yet defined, but open-toed shoes, artificial nails, uncovered tattoos, and facial piercings are not permitted

Weekly orientation held on Mondays

Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for travel pay

Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months

Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
