We are seeking a Teacher Assistant (Floater) who will provide flexible instructional and classroom support across multiple grade levels. This role ensures continuity of learning by assisting lead teachers, supporting small-group or one-on-one instruction, and helping maintain organized, engaging, and inclusive classrooms.

The Teacher Assistant (Floater) provides flexible classroom support across multiple grades and subjects to ensure continuity of learning and student success. Working closely with classroom teachers and school leadership, this role supports academic achievement, social-emotional growth, and a positive, inclusive environment.
Primary Responsibilities:

Support classrooms across grade levels and subjects as needed.

Assist lead teachers with lesson implementation and classroom management.

Provide small-group and one-on-one instructional support.

Maintain organized, clean, and welcoming classrooms.

Cover classrooms during teacher absences.

Supervise students during arrival, dismissal, lunch, and recess.

Support teachers and school leaders with instructional materials and data collection.

Participate in professional development and collaborative meetings.

Promote a school culture of respect, empathy, and teamwork.
Pay & Benefits:

Hourly Range: $17.50 – $22.00 (based on education, certification, and experience)

Schedule: 10-month position, paid evenly over 12 months for year-round coverage
