Become a Key Player as a Contracts Administrator
You will administer contracts of moderate scope to ensure fulfillment of obligations and drive timely delivery for aftermarket products. You will work closely with internal functions (pricing, operations, quality) and customers to generate proposals, negotiate terms, and monitor contract performance. Onsite, 1st shift (typical daytime schedule Monday–Friday).
Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
- Analyze customer purchase orders and contract requirements to ensure compliance with schedules, pricing, terms, and conditions
- Prepare technically and commercially compliant proposal packages and respond to requests for proposal (RFPs)
- Initiate and coordinate the bid process with cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements and cost estimates
- Negotiate pricing, terms, deliveries, and contract provisions within delegated authorities
- Monitor contract financial performance, delivery status, and recommend amendments or extensions as needed
- Act as the point of contact for assigned contracts and participate in customer presentations and outreach
- Investigate and resolve claims or complaints, coordinating with technical and quality teams
- Support export compliance administration and ensure adherence to federal, state, and industry regulations
- Apply lean principles to develop and implement standard work
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline
- 1–2 years of contract management or contract administration experience
- Demonstrated ability to read, analyze, and interpret moderately complex contract terms and conditions
- Knowledge of contract administration principles, industry practices, regulations, and government procurement requirements (if applicable)
- Proficiency with standard business applications and familiarity with customer/in-house systems
- Strong negotiation, communication, and customer outreach skills
- Ability to work to general objectives and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Here's What Else Might Help You Out
- Contract management certification (preferred or in process)
- Experience with military contracts (especially preferred)
Pay Range
$24.00 - $30.00/hour
