Job Responsibilities
- Work under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Responsible for implementing individualized treatment programs designed by the BCBA, collect ongoing data and occasionally create materials needed for clients program.
- Ability to work and maintain a professional demeanor in high stress situations such as when treating aggressive behaviors is a must.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work on a team with other line techs.
Must Have:
- Experience working with children.
- Desire to work with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- Be organized and have the ability to work independently.
- Have a high school diploma or Bachelors degree (proof required)
- Be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time.
- Be able to sit on the floor or stand for extended periods of time.
- Valid drivers license.
- Reliable transportation.
- Pass a state and federal background check.
- Attend team meetings in Torbert, LA (every other Saturday 1:00-3:00).
- All trainings will be held in Torbert, LA at the office location unless arranged otherwise.
Preferred:
- Work experience in ABA or RBT certificate.
- Safety Care Specialist.
- CPR up to date.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
