Position Highlights

Full-Time; 72 hours bi-weekly
SUMMARY:
The RN in this position answers patient phone calls, coordinates chronic care and immunization programs and supports nursing staff with daily activities.
In addition, it is expected that this individual provide care/service in accordance with regulatory and accrediting agencies’ standards in a manner that reflects St. Michael’s Hospital Avera (SMHA) standard of quality patient/resident care and commitment to Service Excellence.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinates patient care and delegates activities to other health care team members.
QUALIFICATIONS – Registered Nurse.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Graduate of a nursing education program. Prefer 6-12 months experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Must have current RN licensure in the state of SD or “multi-state privilege” to practice in SD if residing in a compact state outside of SD. Current CPR certification or completion upon next available program.
