Key Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification, or eligibility to obtain one
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Strong background in psychoeducational assessment, report writing, and counseling
- Proficient in Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI)
- Effective communicator and collaborative team player
- Experience with diverse student populations is highly desirable
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students referred for academic, behavioral, or emotional concerns
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support students’ academic and social-emotional needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Offer consultation and strategies to staff regarding classroom management, interventions, and crisis response
- Facilitate small group and individual counseling sessions as needed
- Maintain thorough and confidential student records in alignment with state and federal regulations
