GENERAL INFORMATION
New team members will advance through our team training as an entry-level technician for the first 10 days, and quickly transition to a Lead Technician. As a new member, you will be working directly with the company owner, gaining necessary training, skills, and certifications within a certain timeframe, and working towards getting on your own route of jobs where sometimes you will be working alone, and other times with another technician.
This position requires a high degree of trustworthiness, responsibility, reliability, and shared core values, so that all team members, from Technician, to Office Staff, to Management, are all in alignment. New team members who are not able to demonstrate these qualities will not make it. We are looking for the right person who can embody, “this is how we as a team do things here” vs “this is how I do things.”
After 10 days of initial training, you will know how to complete projects such as roof cleans, gutter cleans, exterior window cleans, sidewalks/driveways, and other surface flatwork cleaning. When you are working with another technician, you will work together to divide up the different components of the project and ensure their successful completion as well as customer satisfaction.
We currently are working 4 - 5 days per week, 38 - 45 hrs/week, 8-10 hour days. Occassionaly, when we are slow, we will have you do door-hanger marketing in neighborhoods at your base rate of $22/hr. This is typically just 1 day a week, unless during our seasonal time (might be 1-3 days). More hours are available if team members are willing to work.
PAY STRUCTURE
We use a Pay for Performance pay structure to incentivize efficiency, consistency, a hard work ethic, teamwork, and the ability to earn more money for our team members.
This consists of a Base Pay of $22/hour. This means you will always make at least this much hourly. You will average around $25 - $27/hr (keep reading below). You will be earning base pay for the first 10 Days until you have been trained on each service and have learned how to use all of the equipment. You will also be required to get your applicator's license for moss treatment within your first 6 weeks of employment to keep this job.
Then, we use a Performance Pay scale of attainable metrics (i.e., completing work within budgeted hours for each job, not damaging client property, proper workmanship and cleanup, not breaking equipment, attendance, to name a few), which allows you to earn more money. On average, you will be earning around $25-27/hour, but you will be able to earn over $30/hour with commissions on upsells, Google reviews, winning marketing jobs, and bonuses.
Your efficiency, reliability, and hard work allows you to have control over how much you make hourly. More information about this will be provided to you during the interview. We also provide team members with $20 for each review they earn once they are fully trained, certified, and don't require immediate supervision.
The higher you optimize the metrics on the P4P scale, the higher your wage. Lower performance on the P4P scale will result in a lower wage. Each day provides reasonable and attainable opportunities to maximize your P4P and earn a higher wage. WE WANT YOU TO EARN MORE MONEY FOR YOURSELF!
