Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry, possess knowledge of medical imaging, and be proficient in handling medical records and dental reception duties.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Prepare patients for dental work
- Take and process X-rays, including 3D scans
- Manage medical records and ensure accurate documentation
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
- Perform various office tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phones, and maintaining patient records
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements
Experience:
- Prior experience in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry is preferred
- Proficiency in using OpenDental or similar dental software
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques to maintain cleanliness and prevent infection
- Knowledge of anatomy to assist the dentist during procedures
- Experience with medical imaging techniques

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 37 per week
