Perform daily kitchen / cafeteria duties to provide a safe clean and sanitized environment for our patients, residents, customers, and partners with quality service in mind. Operates dish machine. Washes pots & pans. Operates, cleans and sanitizes other kitchen equipment. Maintains a clean work area. Has the ability to work in a fast paced environment. Performs other duties as assigned. May work alternate shifts, weekends and holidays. May be assigned overtime during peak periods. Maintains flexibility in scheduling and work/area assignments according to department and system needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Collects patient trays from rooms, stacks dirty dishes on cart and returns cart to kitchen.

Operates dish machine

Performs daily / weekly cleaning tasks

Washes and sanitizes dishes, pots and pans.

Takes and records equipment temperatures
-
Cleans and sanitizes work area, tables, and cabinets.

Collects and places garbage and trash in designated containers.

Adheres to department safety and sanitation regulations

Use protective barriers (gloves, apron, and proper hair coverings)
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
-
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Ability to effectively present information in one-to-one to other employees of the organization

Ability to communicate with others in a positive manner
MATHAMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add and subtract. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money, weight measurements and volume.

PAY RANGE:
$15.60 - $25.48
