Job Overview
The Vita Brevis Club is seeking attentive, polished Servers to join our floor team. This role delivers seamless, member-facing hospitality across our dining program — including tasting menu service — and plays a key part in the overall member experience during regular service and private events.
Key Responsibilities
● Welcome members and guests, and provide attentive, well-paced table service.
● Serve food and beverages with confidence, offering menu knowledge and thoughtful recommendations, including guidance through tasting menu courses.
● Record orders accurately and promptly using the club's POS system.
● Check in with guests throughout each course to ensure satisfaction and address needs proactively.
● Close out guest checks in a timely, accurate manner.
● Collaborate closely with kitchen, bar, and host team to keep service seamless, especially during private events.
Cleanliness & Facility Standards
● Clear, reset, and wipe down tables promptly between courses and after guests depart.
● Restock service stations, tableware, linens, and supplies throughout each shift.
● Complete opening and closing side work, including cleaning and sanitizing service areas and equipment.
● Help maintain a clean, polished club throughout service and during private events.
Requirements
● Previous serving experience required; fine dining, private club, or tasting-menu experience preferred.
● Strong communication skills and a team-oriented, guest-first attitude.
● Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
● Familiarity with POS systems and club menus.
● Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and select private events.
● Extended periods of standing and walking during service.
● Evening, weekend, and select private event shifts are standard for this role.
Schedule: Wednesday–Saturday, with flexibility for private events throughout the week
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 – 29.0 per week
