Job Title: Assistant Property Manager- (Conventional)
Position Type: Full-Time
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Assistant Property Manager to assist the manager of our conventional apartment community located in Spring Hill, FL. The Assistant Property Manager will work with the manager to improve the overall performance of the asset, including financial results, leasing performance, resident satisfaction, team leadership, and physical condition of the property.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in conventional property management. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can assist with managing daily operations, ensuring leasing goals are accomplished, and providing exceptional service to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Property Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the property.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, including Fair Housing regulations.
- Process rental applications, lease renewals, and Applicant tours.
- Handle resident inquiries, complaints, and maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of leases, resident information, and property maintenance.
- Conduct regular inspections of units and property grounds to ensure safety and cleanliness.
- Assist with rent collection, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Coordinate and participate in community events and initiatives to promote resident engagement and satisfaction.
- Supervise and support property staff as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in property management or a related field.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
