Overview
Looking for a reliable, motivated self-starter to deliver the Phelps County Focus as a Newspaper delivery driver to local businesses each week.
This would be a great opportunity to supplementing your income and is Ideal for stay-at-home parent, retirees, students, or for anyone looking to earn some extra cash working part-time. You would work one day a week (Wednesday) in the afternoon/evening for around 2-3 hours delivering copies (bundles) of the Phelps County Focus and would earn between $250-$300 per month. Interested? Duties:
- 1 day per week. 2-3 hours per day
- Early Afternoon or Evening. Flexible start time.
- Accurately deliver to stores on a manifest and record/remove unsold copies from previous week.
- Work independently without supervision. You are welcome to bring a friend or even your dog while delivering newspapers!
Requirements
- Have a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
- Have a reliable vehicle
- Ability to perform lifting and manual tasks related to loading/unloading newspapers and equipment.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Comfortable driving in various weather conditions and navigating urban roads.
- Knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations applicable to commercial driving
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
