The position supports the New Orleans Book Festival leadership through a combination of program coordination, event management support, and external communications. writing and editing, program research, and high-level administrative and relationship support functions.
The position serves as the initial point of contact for the office, supports additional duties related to the Book Festival, such as managing various administrative workflows and systems processes, and coordinates and schedules logistical arrangements.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications may be considered.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous event planning experience
Previous experience working in an academic environment
Experience working in Airtable, Drupal, Emma and similar systems
