Position Summary

We are?seeking?a reliable and motivated High-Volume Prep Cook to support our fast-paced kitchen operations. This role is essential for preparing ingredients,?maintaining?organized workstations, and ensuring?timely?delivery of high-quality food for large-scale service. The ideal candidate thrives in a busy environment, works efficiently, and takes pride in consistency and cleanliness.?

Key Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients, including chopping, slicing, dicing, and measuring, according to recipes and specifications?

Assist?in cooking and assembling menu items under the direction of chefs and line cooks?

Portion, label, and store prepped food items properly in coolers, freezers, and storage areas?

Maintain clean and organized workstations, including utensils, equipment, and prep areas?

Follow food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards?at all times?

Rotate stock to ensure freshness and reduce waste?

Assist?with unloading deliveries and stocking inventory when needed?

Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure efficient service during high-volume periods?

Qualifications

Previous?experience in a high-volume kitchen preferred (restaurants, catering, or banquet service)?

Knowledge of food safety and proper handling techniques?

Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately?

Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment?

Physical stamina for lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods?

Working conditions /Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

Stand, bend, reach, and move quickly in a busy kitchen

Work in varying kitchen temperatures, including hot cooking lines and cold storage areas
