Overview
We are a creative marketing agency seeking a reliable and proactive Field Marketing & Brand Representative based in the Hillsboro, Oregon area to serve as our local on-the-ground presence. You'll assist with local marketing initiatives, advertising verification, event support, and logistics — representing our clients' brands professionally in the community.
This is a contractor position that is flexible and task-based. Assignments will be provided as needed throughout the year and will vary in scope and duration. Compensation will typically fall within the $17–$20 per hour range, depending on the specific project or assignment. Rates may vary based on factors such as weekend work, required travel, project size, difficulty, or additional responsibilities.
The ideal candidate is high-energy, organized, dependable, and comfortable engaging with the public while representing professional brands in accordance with provided brand guidelines.
Responsibilities
Event Support
- Assist with event setup and breakdown
- Distribute promotional merchandise and materials
- Engage with attendees in a friendly and professional manner
- Represent the brand professionally at community events
- Maintain an organized and welcoming event presence
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth coordination and attendee engagement
- All event assignments will be communicated in advance with clear dates, times, and expectations so you can plan accordingly
Local Marketing Assistance
- Act as a local point of contact for on-the-ground marketing needs
- Confirm advertising placements are active and visible
- Visit various advertising locations throughout the area and take photos to document placements
- Report any missing, damaged, or incorrect advertisements
- Speak with vendors or property contacts when necessary
- Assist with occasional marketing checks and verifications across different types of outdoor and local advertising
Logistics & Operational Support
- Receive and organize shipped promotional materials
- Confirm shipment contents and report any discrepancies
- Send out or deliver materials when needed
- Assist with logistical tasks related to marketing campaigns
Travel throughout the Portland and Hillsboro area will be required.
Qualifications
- Must be located in or near Hillsboro, Oregon
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (required)
- Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license required — this role involves regular travel throughout the Portland and Hillsboro area and beyond
- Professional communication skills and a dependable work ethic
- Comfortable interacting with businesses, vendors, and the public
- Able to follow instructions and provide clear photo documentation
- Able to lift and carry materials for event setup (merchandise boxes, banners, etc.)
- Able to work extended event shifts when required
- Organized, self-directed, and responsive — comfortable completing assignments with minimal supervision
Compensation
Compensation will typically fall within the $17–$20 per hour range, depending on the specific project or assignment.
