Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Institute Instructors to join our team. As an Instructor, you will have the opportunity to educate and inspire future cosmetology professionals. This is a rewarding role where you will have the chance to share your expertise and help students develop their skills in the field of cosmetology.
Duties:
- Deliver engaging lesson plans and instructional materials for students
- Provide hands-on training and demonstrations to students
- Supervise and evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback and guidance for improvement
- Implement assessments to measure student progress and achievement
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, techniques, and regulations to ensure curriculum relevance
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff members to enhance the learning environment
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom and clinic environment
Requirements:
- Experience working with students in an educational or training setting is recommended, not required
- Experience working behind the chair and or in the treatment room
- Strong knowledge and experience in cosmetology techniques, trends, and products
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and clinic of diverse learners
- Proficiency in record keeping
- Valid DORA license
