We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a dynamic early childhood education environment. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development based on early childhood education principles.
- Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence among young children.
- Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement strategies to ensure a safe and respectful learning space.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children’s progress, milestones, and any concerns, fostering strong partnerships.
- Plan and execute engaging activities that support literacy education, math skills, physical education, and other core areas of child development.
- Follow mandated reporting laws to ensure child welfare and safety are maintained at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and individualized education plans (IEPs) when applicable.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings; prior classroom management experience is highly valued.
- Knowledge of child development instruction, early intervention strategies, and special education needs.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and engage with parents.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training in childhood development is preferred. This training can be provided our facility once job is accepted.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, standardized testing for early learners, and Montessori or other educational philosophies is desirable.
- Ability to manage classroom behavior positively while maintaining a nurturing environment.
- Experience teaching physical education or tutoring young children is a plus.

Pay: $9.00 - $10.00 per hour
