Job Description
- Prepare and issue tentative offer letters through USA Staffing (USAS) and other Government designated systems in accordance with applicable regulations, policies, and established procedures.
- Coordinate pre-employment requirements and onboarding activities, including collection, review, and tracking of required documentation and forms.
- Communicate with selectees and hiring managers regarding tentative offers, onboarding requirements, required forms, supporting documentation, outstanding requirements, appointment processing activities and next steps to ensure timely entry on duty.
- Support initiation and tracking of pre-employment activities, including suitability, credentialing, security, and other requirements as directed.
- Conduct Quality Review (QR) onboarding records and documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established procedures prior to appointment processing.
- Create and maintain position builds in Enterprise Human Capital Management (EHCM) to support recruitment, onboarding, and appointment processing activities, ensuring position data is accurate, complete, and aligned with approved organizational and position information.
- Assist with onboarding transactions, case maintenance, and workflow management within USAS and other Government-designated systems.
- Maintain accurate onboarding case files, status reports, and tracking records in accordance with applicable records management requirements to support recruitment operations, reporting requirements, and audit readiness.
- Identify onboarding delays, documentation deficiencies, processing issues, or compliance concerns and elevate them to designated Government officials for resolution.
- Prepare and maintain written case notes documenting onboarding activities, applicant communications, status updates, and actions taken throughout the pre-employment process.
Job Requirements
- Provide skilled support for Human Resourced (HR) programs with minimal supervision.
- Position requires knowledge of Federal HR terminology, operations, procedures, and requirements.
- Must be capable of completing high-quality work expeditiously.
- Minimum Three (3) years of Federal HR experience, at least 2 of which must be specialized experience in the area in which work is to be performed.
- A college degree may be substituted for 1 year of non-specialized experience.
- Also requires proven administrative skills and experience with HR automated systems.
- Min Education HS/GED.
