We are seeking a detail-oriented General Accountant / Financial Analyst to support both daily accounting operations and broader financial analysis activities. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with month-end close, preparing reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and delivering insights that help leadership make informed business decisions. The ideal candidate combines strong accounting knowledge with analytical skills, systems proficiency, and the ability to communicate financial information clearly across departments.
Key Responsibilities
· Prepare and post journal entries and maintain the accuracy of the general ledger.
· Perform bank, balance sheet, and account reconciliations on a timely basis.
· Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
· Assist in the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.
· Analyze financial results, identify variances, and explain trends against budget and forecast.
· Assist with annual budgets, periodic forecasts, and ad hoc financial modeling.
· Monitor key performance indicators and provide insight into operational and financial performance.
· Support audits, internal controls, and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
· Maintain and improve reporting processes, workflows, and data accuracy within financial systems.
· Partner with department leaders to support decision-making through clear financial analysis and reporting.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
· 3–5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, financial analysis, or a hybrid finance role.
· Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting.
· Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and budget-to-actual analysis.
· Experience with the Microsoft Suites programs (PowerPoint, Word, Power BI) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
· Experience with ERP or accounting systems; Microsoft Business Central experience is preferred.
· Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
