About Us:
We are a growing low voltage and IT company specializing in fire alarm systems, security cameras, access control, and network infrastructure. We are looking for an experienced lead technician who can take ownership of projects and operate independently in the field.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Lead Fire Alarm/Low Voltage Technician with strong hands-on experience in fire alarm systems. This role requires someone who can confidently handle installations, service, inspections, and troubleshooting without needing constant supervision.
You should be comfortable leading jobs, making decisions in the field, and ensuring work is completed correctly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Install, service, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems (primary focus)
- Perform fire alarm inspections and diagnostics
- Install and program fire alarm panels
- Lead job sites and coordinate with other technicians when needed
- Install and support IP network camera systems, access control, and intrusion systems
- Run, terminate, and test Cat5e/Cat6 cabling
- Configure basic networking for IP-based systems
- Set up NVR/DVR systems and remote access
- Diagnose and resolve system issues efficiently
- Communicate clearly with clients and internal team
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of hands-on low voltage experience
- Strong fire alarm experience required (install, service, inspections)
- Ability to work independently and lead jobs without supervision
- Experience troubleshooting systems in the field
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Preferred (but not required):
- FASA/BASA Certification
- Previous leadership or project coordination experience

Compensation:
Salary position (based on experience) with additional earning potential.

We are looking for a lead technician who knows what they’re doing. This is not an entry-level position and does not require micromanagement.
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
