Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Wellness Director to lead our comprehensive wellness programs within a long-term care environment. This vital role involves overseeing resident well-being, coordinating multidisciplinary care teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centered services. Duties
- Develop, implement, and oversee wellness programs tailored to residents’ individual needs, including memory care and chronic condition management
- Lead and supervise nursing staff, care coordinators, and support personnel to ensure consistent delivery of exceptional resident care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create personalized care plans that incorporate medical, psychological, and social considerations
- Monitor regulatory compliance related to long-term care regulations, HIPAA privacy standards, and Medicare requirements
- Review medical records, documentation, and care documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to policies using EMR/EHR systems
- Conduct regular assessments of residents’ physiology and anatomy to inform care strategies and improve health outcomes
- Manage shift scheduling, resource allocation, and operational workflows to optimize team performance and resident satisfaction
Skills
- Extensive assisted living experience with a strong background in nursing home operations and home health services
- Proven leadership in managing care facility teams with supervising experience in nursing administration or nurse management roles
- Deep knowledge of long-term care regulations, Medicare policies, HIPAA compliance, and regulatory standards governing senior care facilities
- Proficiency with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems and EHR (Electronic Health Records) platforms for documentation review and patient record management
- Familiarity with medical terminology, patient care procedures, and medical records management within acute care or hospice settings
- Strong understanding of physiology and anatomy relevant to elderly populations with memory care needs
- Demonstrated ability in managing multiple shifts effectively while maintaining high standards of quality assurance in patient care
- Exceptional communication skills for coordinating multidisciplinary teams and engaging with residents’ families

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
