Inventory and Warehouse operations (pulling and re-shelving gear and steel)
Perform routine maintenance on equipment and vehicles such as changing oil, checking fluids, and checking operations.
Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, pressure gauges, precision instruments, and power tools such as pneumatic wrenches, welding equipment, jacks, and hoists.
Adjust and replace parts, tighten bolts and screws, and reassemble equipment.
Examine and adjust protective guards, and specified safety devices.
Maintain work area appearance and safe housekeeping practices.
Actively participate in company-provided safety skills training and company-assigned improvement initiatives.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Perform duties with little or no supervision and in a timely and efficient manner.
Contribute to a positive and productive working environment.
Knowledge / Abilities / Skills
Proficiency in the use of shop tools required.
While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move and stand frequently.
Must frequently use their hands to touch, handle, and move gear, steel, and other shop items.
Must be able to lift and move up to 75lbs regularly.
Regular, predictable, on-time attendance is an essential job function.
Ability to learn or knowledge of trucking load control.
A certified forklift license is preferred but not required.
OSHA 30 preferred but not required.
CDL license preferred but not required.
