Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC/R units, refrigeration equipment, and other building systems to prevent breakdowns.
- Diagnose and repair appliances, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain various appliances and mechanical systems to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs.
- Perform maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) tasks including equipment repair, replacement, and upgrades.
- Collaborate with construction teams during upgrades or new installations to ensure proper setup of mechanical systems.
- Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during complex maintenance projects when necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a focus on appliance repair, HVAC/R, refrigeration, or mechanical systems repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot using schematics and technical diagrams.
- Hands-on experience with appliance installation, HVAC systems (including air conditioning), refrigeration units, and equipment repair.
- Familiarity with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) practices in industrial or commercial settings.
- Construction experience is a plus for understanding building systems integration.
- Ability to work independently or lead small teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong attention to detail in diagnosing issues quickly and accurately.
